In this display case, Marin Montagut celebrates the hot-air balloon, a poetic nod to the very first hot-air balloon flight in history, which took place in France in the 18th century. A symbol of daring, freedom and dreams, the hot-air balloon has traveled through the centuries. Here, it floats in an imaginary sky, like an invitation to escape and contemplate.
The vitrine à merveilles is a three-dimensional object, in the spirit of dioramas, entirely hand-painted and designed in Marin Montagut's Parisian workshops. Each piece is unique, numbered and signed by the artist.
It is made of papier-mâché and protected by glass. A precious object to admire without moderation.
Each display case comes with its certificate of authenticity, personalized with its owner's name.
