Description
Designed by Gustave Eiffel in 1887 for the 1889 Universal Exposition, THE EIFFEL TOWER is now the symbol that represents Paris and France around the world. Marin Montagut pays homage to it through a watercolor illustration, applied here to a delicate porcelain tray.
Marin Montagut works on each of his tableware designs, drawing inspiration from old French dinnerware. The dinnerware, of rare delicacy, is made of glazed porcelain. Each model is handcrafted, using the ancestral know-how of plaster molds.
The illustrations are applied in Marin Montagut's workshops in Paris and each piece is fired on site.
