THE ORANGE TREE OF THE JARDIN DU LUXEMBOURG pays tribute to Marin Montagut’s favorite Parisian garden, which he depicts in this watercolor illustration through its famous orange tree. This illustration is applied to a delicate porcelain tray.
Marin Montagut designs each of his tableware models by drawing inspiration from antique French tableware. The exceptionally fine tableware is made of enameled porcelain. Each model is handcrafted, using the ancestral know-how of plaster molds. The illustrations are applied in Marin Montagut's workshops in Paris and each piece is fired on-site.
