TrayFLOWERS OF THE LUXEMBOURG GARDEN

The LES FLEURS DU JARDIN DU LUXEMBOURG illustration pays homage to the Jardin du Luxembourg, Marin Montagut's favourite Parisian garden, which he depicts through the flowers that inhabit it. The watercolour illustration is here applied to a delicate porcelain tray.

Marin Montagut designs each of his tableware models by drawing inspiration from antique French crockery. The exceptionally fine crockery is made of glazed porcelain. Each model is handcrafted, using the ancestral know-how of plaster moulds.
The illustrations are applied in Marin Montagut's workshops in Paris and each piece is fired on site.
