TrayFLOWERS OF THE LUXEMBOURG GARDEN

The LES FLEURS DU LUXEMBOURG illustration pays tribute to the Jardin du Luxembourg, Marin Montagut's favorite Parisian garden, which he sketches through the flowers that inhabit it. The watercolor illustration is here applied to a delicate porcelain tray.

Marin Montagut designs each of his tableware models by drawing inspiration from antique French crockery. The exceptionally fine tableware is made of enameled porcelain. Each model is handmade, using the ancestral know-how of plaster molds.
The illustrations are applied in Marin Montagut's workshops in Paris and each piece is fired on site.
