Description
Designed by Gustave Eiffel in 1887 for the 1889 Universal Exhibition, THE EIFFEL TOWER is now the symbol representing Paris and France around the world. Marin Montagut pays tribute to it through a watercolor illustration, applied here to a delicate porcelain tray.
Marin Montagut designs each of his tableware models by drawing inspiration from antique French crockery. The exceptionally fine tableware is made of enameled porcelain. Each model is handcrafted, using the ancestral know-how of plaster molds.
The illustrations are applied in Marin Montagut's workshops in Paris and each piece is fired on site.
