Fascinated by the stars among which the Earth sails, Marin Montagut offers two illustrations of geometric shapes representing celestial abstractions: the SPHÈRE ARMILLAIRE and the POLYÈDRE, in two variations, blue and red.
The POLYÈDRE ROUGE decorative wall chart is press-printed in Paris, on handmade rag paper produced in a mill in the south of France using eighteenth-century techniques. The print is then colored in watercolor in Marin Montagut's Parisian workshop.
Limited edition of 300 copies. Each chart is numbered.
Each picture is mounted on two wooden rods that roll up like a scroll and close with a grosgrain ribbon, in the manner of the hand-drawn maps of the time.
