Fascinated by the stars through which the Earth sails, Marin Montagut offers two geometric illustrations representing celestial abstractions: the ARMILLARY SPHERE and the POLYHEDRON, in blue and red variations.
The decorative RED POLYHEDRON wall chart is printed on a press in Paris, on handmade rag paper produced in a mill in the south of France using 18th-century techniques. The print is then colored with watercolor in Marin Montagut's Parisian workshop.
Limited edition of 300 copies. Each chart is numbered.
Each painting is attached to two wooden rods that roll up like a scroll and close with a grosgrain ribbon, in the manner of handwritten maps of the time.
