Fascinated by the stars among which the Earth navigates, Marin Montagut offers us two illustrations of geometric shapes representing celestial abstractions: the ARMILLARY SPHERE and the POLYHEDRON, in two blue and red variations.
The POLYÈDRE BLEU decorative wall board is printed on a press in Paris, on rag paper made by hand in a mill in the south of France using 18th century techniques. The print is then colored with watercolor in Montmartre.
Limited series of 300 copies. Each board is numbered.
Each painting is attached to two wooden sticks which wrap around themselves like parchment and close with a grosgrain ribbon in the style of handwritten cards of the time.
