This decorative "INSECTS" wall panel is the result of a collaborative effort: hand-drawn by Marin Montagut, it was then printed by Antoinette Poisson. Marin himself created the original drawings, in keeping with the spirit of 18th-century engravings. True to the quality of materials used at the time, "À Paris chez Antoinette Poisson" then printed his illustrations sheet by sheet in their Parisian workshop, using a traditional press, on handmade laid paper made from 100% pure rags, handcrafted in France. Finally, Marin mounted each engraving on two wooden rods that roll up like a scroll and are tied with a grosgrain ribbon, in the style of the handwritten maps of the era.
This limited-edition color series, signed and numbered from 1 to 200 for each garden, is exclusively hand-painted with watercolors, piece by piece.
