This decorative wall hanging "THE SERPENT & THE BUTTERFLY" is the result of a collaborative effort: hand-drawn by Marin Montagut, it was then printed by Antoinette Poisson. Marin himself created the original drawings, in keeping with the spirit of 18th-century engravings. True to the quality of the materials used at the time, the "À Paris chez Antoinette Poisson" workshop then printed his illustrations sheet by sheet in their Parisian workshop, using a traditional press, on handmade laid paper made from 100% pure rags, crafted in France. Finally, Marin mounted each engraving on two wooden rods that roll up like a scroll and are tied with a grosgrain ribbon, in the style of handwritten maps of the period.
This limited-edition colored series, signed and numbered from 1 to 200 for each garden, is exclusively hand-painted with watercolors, piece by piece.
