A great lover of Paris and its enchanting alleyways, Marin Montagut wanted to immortalize his three favorite neighborhoods with his drawings: Le Marais, Montmartre and Saint Germain des Prés.
The LE MARAIS decorative wall panel is printed on a press in Paris, on handmade rag paper produced in a mill in the south of France using 18th-century techniques. The print is then hand-colored with watercolors in Marin Montagut's Parisian workshop.
Limited edition of 200 copies. Each plate is numbered.
Each painting is fixed to two wooden sticks which roll up on themselves like a scroll and are closed with a grosgrain ribbon in the manner of the handwritten maps of the time.
