Marin Montagut's favorite Parisian neighborhood, PLACE SAINT GERMAIN DES PRÉS, pays homage to this vibrant Parisian district, a mecca for artists and intellectuals. A lover of Paris, Marin Montagut created a series of watercolor illustrations honoring its streets. This watercolor, to be collected with other street designs, is applied here to a delicate small porcelain plate.
Marin Montagut designs each of his tableware models inspired by antique French crockery. The exceptionally fine tableware is made of enameled porcelain. Each model is handcrafted, using the ancestral know-how of plaster molds.
The illustrations are applied in Marin Montagut's workshops in Paris, and each piece is fired on site.
