Description
The small plate is perfectly suited for tasting a dessert or cheese.
Designed by Gustave Eiffel in 1887 for the 1889 Universal Exhibition, THE EIFFEL TOWER is now the symbol representing Paris and France around the world. Marin Montagut pays tribute to it through a watercolour illustration, applied here to a delicate small porcelain plate.
Marin Montagut designs each of his tableware models inspired by old French tableware. The tableware, of rare delicacy, is made of glazed porcelain. Each model is handmade, with the ancestral know-how of plaster moulds.
The illustrations are applied in Marin Montagut's workshops in Paris and each piece is fired on site.
