A hymn to this feeling that grips our hearts, ROI DE COEUR is dedicated to lovers of Paris, lovers of love, and lovers in general. The illustration created by Marin Montagut is presented here in the form of a Secret Book, TO BE PERSONALISED WITH THE INITIALS OF A LOVED ONE!
Used since the 18th century in France, secret books allow us to hide our little treasures. The pages of the books were cut out to hide jewellery, precious stones, love letters, and other intimate little wonders.
Inspired by this tradition, the "Livres À Secrets" collection, created from papier-mâché, is entirely handcrafted, painted, and numbered by hand in Marin Montagut's workshops in Paris. The interior is lined with hand-printed marbled binding paper made in France and contains a ribbon with a key-shaped metal trinket at its end.
Please note that a production time of 1 to 4 days is required in addition to the 2 to 3 days of preparation time for shipping. Thus, the shipping time can vary between 3 to 7 working days.
Please note that the color of the marbled inner lining is random for personalized books.
