An ode to the master of our hearts and homes, LE CHAT is dedicated to lovers of these little felines. The illustration created by Marin Montagut is presented here in the form of a Livre À Secrets, TO BE PERSONALIZED WITH THE NAME OF A LOVED ONE!
Used in France since the 18th century, secret books make it possible to hide our little treasures. The pages of the books were cut out to hide jewelry, precious stones, love letters and other small intimate wonders.
Inspired by this tradition, the "Livres À Secrets" collection, made of papier-mâché, is entirely crafted, painted and numbered by hand in Marin Montagut's workshops in Paris. The interior is lined with marbled bookbinding paper hand-printed in France and contains a ribbon with a key-shaped metal charm at its end.
Please add the product to your cart by clicking “ADD TO CART”: a window will then appear for you to enter THE NAME (in one word) you would like to see on the Livre à secrets.
Please kindly note that:
A production time of 1 to 4 days is required in addition to the 2 to 3 days of preparation for shipping. The shipping time may therefore vary between 3 and 7 working days.
The color of the marbled inner lining is random for personalized books.
Marin applies the name to your book with individual letter stamps. He has different fonts, in different sizes. Depending on the size of the name, he will choose the appropriate stamp. This means that the typography shown in the sample images may not be the same as the typography he will need to use for your personalized book.
