An ode to the feeling that fills our hearts, HEART ON THE HAND is dedicated to lovers of Paris, lovers of love itself, and lovers in general. The illustration created by Marin Montagut is presented here as a Secret Book, which can be personalized with the initials of a loved one!
Used in France since the 18th century, secret books allowed us to hide our little treasures. The pages of the books were cut out to conceal jewelry, precious stones, love letters, and other small, intimate treasures.
Inspired by this tradition, the “Secret Books” collection, created from papier-mâché, is entirely handcrafted, painted, and numbered in Marin Montagut's workshops in Paris. The interior is lined with hand-printed marbled bookbinding paper from France and contains a ribbon with a metal key-shaped charm at its end.
