An ode to the master of our hearts and homes, CHAT MÉDAILLONis dedicated to lovers of these small felines. The illustration created by Marin Montagut is presented here in the form of a Secret Book.
Used since the 18th century in France, secret books allow us to hide our little treasures. The pages of the books were cut out to conceal jewelry, precious stones, love letters, and other intimate little wonders.
Inspired by this tradition, the "Secret Books" collection, made of papier-mâché, is entirely handcrafted, painted, and numbered by hand in Marin Montagut's workshops in Paris. The interior is lined with a hand-printed marbled binding paper made in France and contains a ribbon with a metal key-shaped trinket at its end.
Please note that a manufacturing time of 1 to 4 days is required in addition to the 2 to 3 days preparation time for shipping. Thus, the shipping time can vary between 3 to 7 business days.
Please note that the color of the marbled inner lining is random for personalized books.
