A hymn to this feeling that captivates our hearts, CHÂTEAU AMOUR is dedicated to lovers of Paris, lovers of love and lovers in general. The illustration created by Marin Montagut is presented here in the form of a Secret Book.
Used since the 18th century in France, secret books allow us to hide our little treasures. The pages of the books were cut out to hide jewels, precious stones, love letters and other little intimate wonders.
Inspired by this tradition, the “Livres À Secrets” collection created in papier-mâché is entirely made, painted and numbered by hand in the Marin Montagut workshops in Paris. The interior is covered with marbled binding paper hand-printed in France and contains a ribbon with a metal trinket in the shape of a key at its end.
This model comes in two different sizes: the traditional size and a larger size to hold big secrets…
