The Revolution taking away the head of the King, the JARDIN DU ROI was renamed THE GARDEN OF PLANTS in 1793. It is the only garden whose opening to the public is regulated by nature: open from sunrise to sunset, its hours fluctuate throughout throughout the year. Marin Montagut sketches it from an aerial view and accompanied by its most illustrious inhabitants, such as its pink flamingos, its dinosaurs and its beautiful flowers.
