An eternal lover of Paris, Marin Montagut pays tribute to one of its legendary cafés, LE CAFÉ DE FLORE. His favourite café, where he enjoys his morning coffee and croissant, is depicted in this watercolour which is applied here to a delicate porcelain dish.
Marin Montagut designs each of his tableware models inspired by old French dinnerware. The dinnerware, of rare finesse, is made of enamelled porcelain. Each model is handmade, using the ancestral know-how of plaster moulds. The illustrations are applied in Marin Montagut's workshops in Paris and each piece is fired on site.
