The soup plate can be used as a display plate with fruits or even bread. It is also perfectly suited for enjoying pasta or a salad.
RUE DE L’AMOUR pays homage to an imaginary Parisian street that Marin Montagut created to celebrate love, his favorite theme! A lover of Paris, Marin Montagut created a series of watercolor illustrations honoring its streets. This watercolor, to be collected with the other streets, is here applied to a delicate porcelain soup plate.
Marin Montagut designs each of his tableware models by drawing inspiration from vintage French crockery. The tableware, of rare delicacy, is made of enameled porcelain. Each model is handcrafted, using the ancestral know-how of plaster molds.
The illustrations are applied in Marin Montagut's workshops in Paris and each piece is fired on site.
