Marin Montagut's favorite district in Paris, PLACE SAINT GERMAIN DES PRÉS pays tribute to this vibrant Parisian neighborhood, a hub for artists and intellectuals. A lover of Paris, Marin Montagut created a series of watercolor illustrations honoring its streets. This watercolor, to be collected with other streets, is here applied to a delicate porcelain dessert plate.
Marin Montagut designs each of his tableware models inspired by antique French crockery. The tableware, of rare finesse, is made of glazed porcelain. Each model is handcrafted, using the ancestral know-how of plaster molds.
The illustrations are applied in Marin Montagut's workshops in Paris and each piece is fired on site.
