Marin Montagut's favorite neighborhood in Paris, PLACE SAINT GERMAIN DES PRÉS pays tribute to this vibrant Parisian district, a haunt of artists and intellectuals. A lover of Paris, Marin Montagut has created a series of watercolor illustrations celebrating its streets. This watercolor, to be collected along with the other streets, is applied here to a delicate porcelain dessert plate.
Marin Montagut designs each of his tableware models inspired by old French crockery. The exceptionally delicate crockery is made of enameled porcelain. Each model is handcrafted, using the ancestral know-how of plaster molds.
The illustrations are applied in Marin Montagut's workshops in Paris and each piece is fired on site.
