Assiette à dessert, Porcelain illustrated, Porcelaine

Dessert plateTHE HEART EIFFEL TOWER

Dessert plate | THE HEART EIFFEL TOWER

Description

The dessert plate is ideal for enjoying a treat at the end of a meal or at tea time. It can also be used as a cheese plate.

Designed by Gustave Eiffel in 1887 for the 1889 Universal Exhibition, THE EIFFEL TOWER is now the symbol that represents Paris and France around the world. Marin Montagut pays tribute to it through a watercolor illustration, applied here on a porcelain plate.

Marin Montagut works on each of his tableware models, drawing inspiration from old-fashioned French tableware. The tableware, of rare finesse, is made of enameled porcelain. Each model is made by hand, with the ancestral know-how of plaster molds.

The illustrations are affixed in Marin Montagut's workshops in Paris and each piece is fired on site.

The dishes are microwave and dishwasher safe.
