Dessert plate | LUXEMBOURG GARDEN CHAIR
Description
The dessert plate is ideal for enjoying a sweet treat at the end of a meal or at teatime. It can also be used as a cheese plate.
Created in 1612 at the request of Marie de Medici, the Luxembourg Gardens are a springtime rendezvous for lovers of Paris. Marin Montagut captures them with one of their most famous accessories: his iconic green chair, the LUXEMBOURG CHAIR . The watercolor illustration is presented here in the form of a small porcelain plate.
Marin Montagut creates each of his tableware pieces inspired by vintage French tableware. The exquisitely crafted tableware is made of enameled porcelain. Each piece is handcrafted using traditional plaster molding techniques.
The illustrations are applied in Marin Montagut's workshops in Paris and each piece is fired on site.
The dishes are microwave and dishwasher safe.

"The Luxembourg Gardens are joining forces with artist Marin Montagut in a collaboration designed to celebrate the soul of this exceptional place. This poetic encounter contributes to the preservation of this prestigious garden, which embodies the refinement of Paris."
