The Luxembourg GardenbyMarin Montagut

Artist Marin Montagut and the Jardin du Luxembourg have teamed up to present a collection imbued with poetry and delicacy.

A few steps from his boutique at 48 rue Madame, the Jardin du Luxembourg has always accompanied Marin Montagut's imagination. Like a familiar refuge, it is the privileged setting for the Parisian scenes he loves. It is here that he likes to take breaks, sitting on a green chair, in the shade of an orange tree, to paint this emblematic place that transports him to an eternal Paris.

From this attachment an exclusive collection was born, conceived in collaboration with the Jardin du Luxembourg. It brings together everyday objects that have become precious, inspired by the garden's daily scenes, all illustrated in watercolor by Marin, which immediately transport us into the garden's atmosphere.

"When I was little, my mother used to read me a picture book about the Luxembourg Gardens. Undoubtedly, my attachment to this garden began at a very young age. When I arrived in Paris, it was the garden with which I felt most familiar." Marin Montagut.

For this occasion, Marin Montagut has designed a series of creations evoking the multiple facets of a garden

The hundred-year-old orange trees and palm trees that line the paths in fine weather, the famous "Luxembourg" chairs perfect for spring and reading, the bandstands with green hues inherited from the 1900s, the colorful sailboats gliding on the central pond, or the carousels and puppets that have enchanted children for generations. So many familiar, poetic, and timeless scenes that make up the soul of the Jardin du Luxembourg and that this collection invites us to rediscover.

Through this collaboration, Marin Montagut celebrates the Jardin du Luxembourg, a place imbued with history, poetry, and the French art of living.
